Streaks on Martian Surface Show Possiable Water Flow
New clues are emerging about the mysterious streaks that appear on Mar's surface during warm weather , though scientist still can't say for sure that they are caused by flowing water
New research finds that seasonal changes suggest that brines containing an iron antifreeze may flow there from time to time , however direct evidence remains elusive
Fresh Impact Crater Found On Mars
N.A.S.A. spacecraft in orbit around the Red Planet , has spied a fresh impact crater on the Martian surface
The hole is about thirty meters (100ft.) in diameter and surrounded by a blast zone of debris punched out of the ground by the metaorites impact
The explosion that generated this crater tossed out debris as far as fifteen kilometers (5.3 miles)
Image was taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiters Hi Rise Camera , one of six instruments which the probe carries , going by prior orbital scenes it is believed the crater was made sometime between Aug. of 2010 and Nov. 2012
