Baan Thai Cuisine is a new Thai Restaurant in the city of San Anselmo , located at 726 San Anselmo ave. in San Anselmo , their hours are Tues.- Fri. 11 a.m. -10 p.m. &  Sat.- Sun. 11:30 - 10 p.m. , this restaurant does both carry out  & delivery , and you can call for reservations at the following # : 1.415.457.9470 , or go online @ their website : www.Baanthaimarin.com, Call for Special Catering & On Site Party Reservations , their menu is mid priced , & they serve both mild and spicy dishes , wait staff are friendly and very helpful & will warn you if item on menu is very spicy, they have on their menu ; Appetizers ,Salads, BBQ ,Curries , Noodles & Rice , Soups , limited side dishes , there is also an A LA CARTE menu & of course Dessert , Beverages range from tea & soda to beer &wine , I recomend their own Thai iced tea , price around 3.50 (yumm)

 If you happen to order their Tod Mun (fish cakes), here's a tip which will ease the spice, dish comes with pieces of diced cucumber , eat a piece with each bit of fish cake & you will hardly notice the spice anymore , I Highly recomend their Lychee Roast Duck Curry , not too spicy $ very tasty , tomatoes , basil , bell peppers , lychees & pieces of roasted duck in a bowl of red curry broth

 @ 13.00 $ , it's not overpriced and very good , as a side I would suggest either their coconut rice , or maybe their Crab fried rice , (costs a bit more than the coconut), I myself liked very much their Fried Banana & Coconut ice cream dessert , @ 7.00 $ it's in the middle price range , desserts range from 6-10 dollars

Cantinas is located in one of the smaller shopping centers in Mill Valley  @ 651 East Blithdale, Phone # 1.415.381.1070, or go to their Website @ www.m.mariamariarestauraunts.com it has both indoor and patio seating , a full Bar and is child friendly , having hi chairs when needed for infants and crayons to distract fussy toddlers awaiting their meal , most dinners come standard with rice , polenta and your choice of either refried , black or pinto beans , this restraunt also gives the choice of either cirn or flour tortillas , they have many traditional dishes , you may also order combonation plates of two items ie: a tamale and burrito or chile rellino , for a slight charge they will add a third item to your combo, they have the expected dessert of flan ( mexican custard ) as well as fried ice cream ,and you may order your margretias either blended or stright , with or without salt rim , soft drinks , milk as well as iced tea is also available , I myself would suggest their carnitas (shredded pork) or their yummy chile rellinos

L'Appart Resto is less than a block from local bus stop located at 636 San Anselmo Ave., Phone # 1.415.256.9884,or go to their website @ www.l appartresto.com ,this restraunt offers both indoor as well as outdoor heated seating , the menu is more on the fine dining side , with entrees such as Duck and Wild Boar , the Duck will cost you about 19$ , while the Wild Boar will run a bit higher with a price of 24$ , if you decide to order the Boar , you will get chunks of nicely cooked Boar in a rich red wine sauce , with roasted fingerling potatoes sprinkled with parsley and boiling onions , you will also be given a side of five slices of sourdough bread  I did see some side dishes and salads on their menu , Desserts start at 6$ they have their own version of chocolate lava cake as well as a warm apple tart, another surprize is that they actually do take away orders, servers were helpful and friendly , mine informed me their menu changes from time to time , if money is not a problem , L' Appart Resto is your place , however if you are on a budget you may want to pass, Brunch Fri.-Sun., Music every Thurs. Pizzalina is located in the Red Hill Shopping Center at 914 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. phone # 1.415.256.9780 , or go to their website @ www.pizzalina.com , Pizzalina  has both indoor as well as outdoor seating , and serves traditional European style Artisan Pizzas at prices between 10-17 $ , as well as Antipasti which range in price between 4-14$ , Pastas from 8-18$ , (kids pasta 6$)*[Gluten Free Pasta available], Desserts range from ice cream at 3$ to their Rosemary Olive Oil Cake for 6$ , I personaly recommend the Olive Oil Cake, I however suggest if you plan to get a pizza here, then eat it on the premisis, as I ordered one, walked only four blocks home , and found I had to reheat my pizza , it was stone cold , another menu item under their Antipasti which I would recommend is their Wood Roasted Pear Salad , which goes for 12$,their Buisness Hours are Sun.-Thurs. 11:30 a.m.- 9 p.m. , &  Fri.- Sat. 11:30 a.m.- 10 p.m., my cold pizza rated this restraunt only 2 stars

IL Davide , located at 901 A street in San Rafael Ca. , only a few blocks from main bus terminus , and in the centre of the downtown shopping district , phone # 1.415.454.8080 ,or go to their website@ www.ildavide.net , IL Davide has both indoor and outdoor seating , as well as a Private Banquette Room & Catering , they have an extensive wine list, bottles may be bought by full , half or by the glass, btl. prices range 22-190$ , while glasses go 7.50-14$ , their menu items include starters , pasta , steak as well as fish and seafood , there is a separate after dinner drink/Dessert menu , prices on their dinner menu range 8-27$ ,Lunch is slightly less expensive , Desserts range in price between 2.50-9$ , a lunxh for 2 , with entrees ,drinks & dessert may run about 50$ , I had their house made Tortelloni ai Porcini (in a black truffle cream sauce) 8$, while my dining companion had the Calamari Fritti (with lemon, garlic & basil aioli) 9$, for dessert we both had their butterscotxh pot de creme 7$, the butterscotch creme comes in a small ramikin, with whipped cream, drizzled with caramel and topped with fresh mint , dusted with powdered sugar, this is plated with 2 triangular wafer cookies , 2 blueberries, a spoon of syrup and dusted with more powdered sugar, to drink I had the lemonaide , while my dining companion had the iced tea, before you order they will bring you a basket of bread, however they will not offer butter , they will offer either vinegar or olive oil, IL Davide is open Tues.-Sat. 11:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m. & Sun. 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., Catering on premisis ;Avaliable room seats 50 ;Parties, Weddings ,Business events & Private events, Credit Cards excepted , and if you are lucky, you may find yourself dining next to Sean Penn or Ben Stiller  Closed Mon.

Cattlemens has eight northern Calidornia locations, the location I visited is in Petaluma , off the Highway at 5012 North Petaluma Blvd. ,Phone # 1.707.763.4114 , or go to their website @ www.BestSteakintheWest.com , the Petaluma location has indoor seating only , with a full stocked Bar and wide screen televisions(for those who want the sports) , Cattlemens serves many cuts of steak , as well as Ribs , Chicken ,Shrimp & Rack of Lamb , each entree comes with all you can eat salad , sourdough bread , ranch style beans and your choice of rice , baked potato , mash or fries , for an extra charge if .99 you can get toppers for your steak , such as melted cheese , button mushrooms or onions, their Desserts range from a Brownie Sundae for 5.99 to their large deep fried apple pie with vanillia ice cream for 7.99 , on my visit I had their 9oz.cut of Prime Rib ,with horseradish , button mushrooms and a salad with blue cheese dressing , then for dessert I had their fried apple pie , this was large enough for two people, crammed with juicy apples and dusted with cinnamon, with a nice scoop of vanillia ice cream , apart from the bar drinks , Cattlemens also serves ; milk , iced tea , lemonaide , sodas and coffee, the interior  has a western theme to it, with wagon wheels both on their wall and hanging from ceiling with lights , wooden tables & booths as well as hardwood flooring, they have a Private Room available for Birthdays , Anniversaries , or Banquet seating for groups from 10-100 ,gift certificates avalable , Credit Cards accepted

BJ's is located at 5800 Northgate Drive Ste 159 ,next door to the Applebees in the Northgate Shopping Mall , in Terra Linda , San Rafael , California , Phone # 1.415.755.6250 , or go to their website @ www.BJSRESTAURANTS.com ,BJ's   has a full bar with flat screen televisions ( for those who can't miss their sports) , & brew their own sodas ( root beer, black cherry & orange cream sodas) , BJ's serves many things, appetizers , salads , Pizzas ( flatbread, deep dish & hand tossed , as well as Calzones , BJ's also has Burgers , Steak, Chicken ,Pork & Salmon and sandwiches , Desserts are also avaliable , I had their pot roast dinner 14.75 a mound of mashed potato with eight chunks of roasted meat , carrots and celery in a rich brown mushroom gravy, i also tried the pot stickers , six for 9.25, their Desserts range from a deep dish cookie toppwd with ice cream called a Pizookie,*( price ranges depends on which flavour Pizookie chozen) ,from 5.95-9.50 ,, their Beignet is served with whipped cream and strawberries 6.50 ,they also have ice cream , apple berry crumble , brownies and root beer floats ,BJ's has 62 California locations , Credit Cards accepted , all items on menu available for take out
