Wireless or crystal Radio sets came out in the 1880's, many crystal sete were put together like model airplanes ,even after radio's became totally tubeular many still called them wireless , no wifi here

Before talking pictures (movies) , Areoplanes , Computers and Television , there were Generations who lived and died never knowing of such things , in fact there were many of that time which thought the new contraptions , as they refered to them as were the work of the Devil himself , gadgets which made life simpler and made time for the invention of the newer fangled devices we have now , such as this computer on which I write this , the below snapshots are examples of what only a few generations ago used as THEIR latest technology
