The Great War One Hundred Years On
Her Royal Higness Queen Elizabeth , places yearly Remembrance Day Wreath , though this year it is slightly diffrent , as a river of specially made ceramic poppies cascade from the Tower of London''s window and surround it as if the poppies were it's moat , the poppies mark those who fell in Battle and lost their lives during The Great War , I personally lost a Great Uncle (whom my father was named for) his remains still lie where his vessel was lost , someplace in the British Channel , those brave souls shall not be forgotten , nor their sacrafices which they made were not in vain , leaving their homes and in some cases schools , some but as boys , no older than thirteen , lads who in some cases were the men of their household , as their Father's had gone before them , layiing his life down for Queen and Country in the Boar War , the thirteen year old however , whom went to sea in HRH's Royal Navy did not lay down his life , nor diid he flee from the Bloody scenes around him , that lad (My Granfather ) was finally sussed out by his Commanding Officer as being not of age , and sent home to his family , however this was not to occur until he had already been in The Great War for a full eighteen months
