Saving Mr. Banks *****

The story evolves from the lifes Story (as seen thru out film in flashbacks) of the woman who wrote the  1934 Children's book Mary Poppins  P.L.Travers Played by Emma Thomson, Specifically it tells how Walt Disney  Played by Tom Hanks , tried for twenty years before she finally agreed to allow Mr. Disney to pursuade her to sign over her rights to Mary Poppins (who was actually based on her aunttie ) Mr. Bank's is based upon her Father Played by Colin Farrell in the flashbacks of Australia (Which in this film were actually shot in California's Simi Valley) so the now Classic Icon film could be made , clips of that movie were shown during the scenes featuring the motion picture's launch on it's premier night, and during the rolling of it's credits , stills from Mary Poppins , as well as parts of their taped sessions during rehersals were shown,I give this Flick a must see rating
