Local Man Found Dead

on June 6th, just one hour after the man was suppose to have clocked into his work ,a passing motorist noticed a car which had pulled off to the side of the road,the motorist then alerted the authorities,the man who was in his car sitting, motionless ,was after a few attempts at making contact and getting no response , the police then decieded to gain entrance into the man's vehicle,upon doing sothey determined the man had no heart beat and CPR was then administered,as by law the police had to make every effort to revive the man, the man one : Laurence Gordon Mather , was then taken to Valley Care Medical Centre,where he was then placed on full life support while their doctors did tests , the first thing they were to do was place the man into a drug induced coma for the next 24 hours, claiming it would be easier to diagnose his problems,at first the doctors thought it had been a heart attack,as heart trouble had ran in his family, then they believed it was either an anurisum or embolisim, or maybe even a stroke, however after 3 days and all of their tests , the doctors could find no proble mother than his kidneys appeared to be shutting down, so upon getting permission of his next of kin, in this case his aged mother,whom herself had just 2 years before lost her husband, gave her consent to place a shunt in,for possiable dyalisis treatment, then the Doctors finally got around to doing an E.E.G test  ( brain wave ) which turned out results nobody wanted to find, the test came back as flatlined, which in other words meant this man with all the tubes hooked up to him was brain dead, and only these machines were keeping him alive, upon their findings, the doctors informed his family members, who the following day , just two years and four months after losing the head of household,would go and take that trip to the eastbay hospitail and knowing that their loved one had no chance ,  being brain dead, they made the hard decision of having the machines removed ,the man was to expire twenty minutes after the machinery was removed,he was survivedby his mother, 3 siblings, a married daughter and two Gran children, as well as two neices and one grandneice .
