First Colour Snap of NASA Rover Curiosity From Space

This colour image was obtained by NASA's own Curiosity during it's decent to the surface of the Planet Mars, image was taken by the Mars Descent Imager ( also known as MARDI ) and shows the 4.5 meter(15 Ft.) diameter heat sheild, when it was about 16 meters ( 50Ft. ) from the spacecraft , it was obtained 2 1/2 minutes before the crafts landing on the surface of Mars
